By introducing a gantry crane to the site, adjustable and modular architecture can be used to activate and create public spaces within the figure ground.
Ground level floor plan: temporary and cyclical programs such as Christmas markets, art fests, and traveling galleries provide a diverse range of attractors for the site.
Re-inhabiting postindustrial architecture allows for larger spaces to provide permanently large event spaces
The gantry crane enables the site to develop itself, manipulate temporary structures, provide maintenance, and interface with the river.
cross-laminated timber modular units are added over time
residential units are stacked upon the existing structures
