SPRING 2019
This is the first chair I designed and built myself.
It is made from baltic birch plywood and oak dowels.
The back is made from 6 layers of 1/8" thick plywood, which where bent and glued into shape.
The sides are made of 3/4" thick pieces of plywood, which where CNC'd into their final shape.
Wedged dowels connect the back to the sides.
The back was routed flush to the side panels after fitting.
It's not very comfortable and it's heavier than necessary, but it was fun to learn how to manipulate wood differently to make this chair.
